Booksigning in Ohio’s Amish Country

Hello folks,

I just got back from three lovely book-signings in Ohio’s Amish Country in which I stayed at my favorite, B&B Simple Pleasures in Winesburg, Ohio. I signed books at the Dayspring Christian Bookstore in New Philadelphia, the Gospel Shop in Sugar Creek, and finally the Gospel Book Store inside the German Village in Berlin. I met wonderful folks and made new friends at all three stores! Speaking of friends, our dear friends Ed and Cheryl Chadd drove down for the day to experience Amish Country for the first time. Needless to say, they had loads of fun.

The third signing in Berlin involved 20 other authors (many from the Menonnite and Amish faiths) selling wonderful books, everything from self-help for new brides, to cookbooks,  travel guides, devotionals, and local history. It was great to meet fellow authors! I signed copies of Sarah’s Christmas Miracle with fellow Harvest House author, Jerry Eicher, who was signing his latest release A Wedding Quilt for Ella. Here’s a couple photos from our great day in Amish Country.

SARAH’S CHRISTMAS MIRACLE by Mary Ellis (Fiction)
Sarah Beachy has plenty to be joyous about as autumn leaves start to fall. She loves her job at the English bed-and-breakfast where she cooks and refreshes rooms between guests. She has a serious beau, and everyone expects an engagement soon. Why, then, would she jeopardize everything by suddenly deciding to take a trip to Cleveland to track down a brother who left the Order years ago?
