Here’s the winner from Vannetta’s interview

Good Tuesday morning, readers,

Blessings on any of you who live in areas ravaged by storms and tornados these last few days. My heart goes out to you. Our weather continues to grow ever more frightening, either from one threat or another.

I have drawn a name to win a copy of A Perfect Square by Vannetta Chapman, from last week’s interview. Our winner is Anita Mcllveen. Vannetta will be sending out a copy as soon as she can. Thanks to everyone who took the time to post a comment. I will be interviewing another author on Monday, will another chance to win a free book. And I’ll have plenty more chances to win copies of An Amish Family Reunion too.

Books seem superfluous with all the horrible things going on in the world…but sometimes we must cling to something that gives comfort….either writing or reading stories that honor a Christian lifestyle. Stay safe…and may God bless you all.

Join me in welcoming Vannetta Chapman and win a copy of her book

Happy Monday morning, readers. Today I’m excited to welcome my friend and fellow Amish fiction writer, Vannetta Chapman to Home Thoughts. Vannetta has a new book coming out end of March called A Perfect Square. And it’s the perfect combination of Amish Inspirational and mystery romance! Here’s a blurb:

There’s more to the quaint northern Indiana town of Shipshewana than handcrafted quilts, Amish-made furniture, immaculate farms and close-knit families. When a dead girl is found floating in a local pond, murder is also afoot. And Reuben, brother of Deborah’s best friend’s fiance, is in jail as the suspect! Reuben refuses to divulge any information, even to clear himself of a crime Deborah is certain he didn’t commit. So, with her English friend, Callie-fellow sleuth and owner of Daisy’s Quilt Shop-Deborah sets out to uncover the truth. But the mystery deepens when an elderly man seeks Callie’s help in finding his long-lost daughter, missing since the days of the 1965 Palm Sunday Tornadoes. An old man who has lost his past. A young man who may lose his future. Once again Deborah and Callie find themselves trying to piece together a crazy quilt of lives and events-one that can bring unexpected touches of God’s grace and resolve the tragedy that has shaken this quiet Amish community.

I have read this book and its clues will keep you turning the pages until the satisfying end!
Here’s a little about the author: Vannetta Chapman has published over one hundred articles in Christian family magazines, receiving more than two dozen awards from Romance Writers of America chapter groups. She discovered her love for the Amish while researching her grandfather’s birthplace of Albion, Pennsylvania. Her first novel, A Simple Amish Christmas, quickly became a bestseller. Chapman lives in the Texas hill country with her husband. She
